A career in travel and hospitality was purely accidental for Laura Lower, who arrived in Colorado from Louisiana one summer for a mountain vacation. That vacation became a permanent residence, and she soon took her first hospitality job as a reservations agent at Keystone Resort. After meeting her husband in Park City, Utah, the couple ventured to the resort areas of Orcas Island in Washington State then Killington, Vermont before returning once more to Colorado.
Lower loves the care and delight that underscores the hospitality industry, qualities that carry through to planning her kids’ birthday parties or team events at work. Seeing the excitement and happiness from small acts of appreciation is as joy-giving and memorable to her as it is to its recipients. She recalls running into a former team member years after she spearheaded Keystone’s career development program and was touched that he not only remembered details about the program but he had used the training to start his own business.
As a human resources and talent acquisition specialist, Laura brings her fun-loving spirit to CoralTree, supporting people, teams and their growth with her signature sincerity and care.
