Property Information
In 1973, American businessman, real estate developer and philanthropist George P. Mitchell laid out his visionary ideas for The Woodlands, a master-planned community just north of Houston, Texas. He imagined a gathering place inspired by the serenity of the surrounding forest. His 218-room inn was originally designed to provide lodging while homeowners completed construction in the nearby Woodlands neighborhood, and a destination was born.
Today, the wood, stone and steel of contemporary Texas architecture sets a scene for relaxation at the three guestroom buildings and impressive meeting center.
