Design Theme

Discover the unique character of Golden, Colorado. Our eclectic, industrial, contemporary mountain setting pulls from the area's rich history, with a nod to the turn of the 19th-20th century brick factory that once stood on this site. Our hotel honors Golden's mining heritage and the modern-day outdoor adventures now abundant in the area, from biking and rock climbing to hang gliding. With our location on the foothills, we've artfully combined these elements to create an authentic and real experience that is reflective of the true spirit of Golden.

Guestroom Features

Our guestroom features a desk with references to local mining cart history, bringing a touch of the past into the contemporary design. The plaid touches add a rugged western touch to the furniture, while the headboard wall is a modern interpretation of the traditional board and batten housing of the West. The windows have been kept simple to honor the large and unadorned windows of a factory.

Corridor Features

In the hallways, the paneling and lighting capture the timeless beauty of turn-of-the-century inns with a modern take on color and carpet. The carpet is a unique combination of traditional patterns, featuring beverage pantries on each floor, adding an air of sophistication to the space.

Art & Signage

Upon entering the guestroom, guests are immediately charmed by the signage modeled after antique minor coins, expertly designed by the local artisans. Meanwhile, the exterior graphics feature a creative tribute to the factories that populated the area at the turn of the century.

Key Features

Colorado's indoor-outdoor lifestyle is highlighted in the Back Yard space, with its opening garage doors connecting it to the lobby. A nearby bike trail provides access to Golden to the east and majestic mountain views to the west.
