His journey into hospitality began on the operations side in Seattle, Washington, where he participated in a management rotational program. One of the most memorable lessons came during his time with the housekeeping and laundry team. Witnessing the pride and care each person brought to their work left a lasting impression—so much so that to this day, Josh still makes his bed with a perfectly tight corner. It was his first real understanding of how teamwork, respect, and attention to detail create the foundation for exceptional guest experiences.
